“The positive impact of legal volunteering (“Pro Bono”) on your job search” (Law Week 2025)

One of the consistent messages all law students receive is the importance of gaining practical legal work experience and many students are unaware that Brunel Law School has its own "Pro Bono" Legal Advice Clinic supporting members of the local community across a range of legal challenges and offering Law Students the opportinity to develop practical legal skills and experience through legal volunteering ("Pro Bono")

Anjali Kemwal is the Pro Bono Director at Brunel and, as an experienced pro bono lawyer working across student pro bono projects in two universities over 10 years, Anjali will point out the benefits of pro bono on your CV and why it’s essential for your job search.
