Legal Market Update and Commercial Awareness with the University of Law (Law Week 2025)

This session will provide an update on the current legal marketplace and what students can expect at the moment. It will then look at commercial awareness, define what this is, and how students can demonstrate it to legal graduate recruiters. We will consider how commercial awareness is specifically assessed by law firms in interviews and assessment centres, provide tips on how they can prepare and ultimately showcase their commercial acumen in these scenarios.
