MINDFULNESS - Dialectic Behaviour Therapy (DBT): Interpersonal Effectiveness

Goal: The more emotionally agile we are - the more we can alter our emotions honestly, the more effective we will be. In today's session we will also look at preserving our self-worth as well as our prized relationships!

Aims & Objectives

*         Discuss the pros and cons of "making friends"

*       Practice the techniques of GIVE to build relationships; FAST to address concerns in a relationship while still retaining self respect; and DEAR MAN to practice vocalising your needs in a relationship.

*        Discuss when you may need to end or curtail a relationship and how difficult that can be.
